6 Jun 2008 - Kate Moss designs t-shirt for Starlight Children's Foundation Charity

In celebration of Starlight Children’s Foundation’s 21st birthday, Kate Moss has designed a must-have limited edition t-shirt.

As part of her new High Summer holiday collection Kate has personally created this stunning collectors piece. The fine cotton jersey t-shirt with hand drawn etching is set to become an essential festival staple this summer.

Kate Moss comments "Starlight offer a lot of hope to a lot of children at a difficult time in their life, I was really happy to help."

Sir Philip Green added "As a long term supporter of the works of Emma Samms and Starlight Children’s Foundation, I was delighted to be able to help.   Starlight has made a real difference to many terminally and seriously ill children, and along with Kate Moss and the Topshop team I am pleased to offer support to this important charity."

Kate and Topshop have set a target to raise £75,000  - to be donated in full to Starlight. This will enable Starlight to grant an additional wish for a sick or terminally ill child every week over the coming year.

Dr Antony Michalski, Consultant Children’s Cancer Specialist and a member of Starlight’s medical council adds:  "We can treat a child’s illness, we can work to make a child better, but it is difficult to make a child happy at this time: this is what Starlight does best in hospitals all over the country.  Starlight leads the way in paediatric palliative care and their work is an important adjunct to the child’s treatment."

T-shirts are produced in the UK and are priced at £20

Available in 80 stores and online at TOPSHOP.COM
