One of the most renowned chefs in the UK with a background working in the finest Michelin starred restaurants, Tom has been cooking for over twenty five years, launching his first restaurant in 2003. His most recent openings are Tom’s Terrace at Somerset House, Tom’s Kitchen and Tom Aikens also in Chelsea.
He has published two cookery books, "Tom Aikens Cookery" and "Fish" and is also in demand as a television chef appearing on Iron Chef. A keen sportsman, Tom is an avid cyclist and regularly participates in charitable rides including Le Marmotte for the Lucas Johnston fund, and Evenlina Children’s Hospital Appeal, L’Étape du Tour for Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign and the Luc Alphand cycle race for the Kipungani Schools Trust.
